Biography:

Ms Juanita Easthorpe is a Lecturer in the fields of Gender and the Law and Family Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Masters of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and is in the process of reading for her PhD in Private Law. Juanita is an advocate of the High Court, South Africa. Her main research interests are in the areas of Gender and the Law (focussing on gender equality) and Family Law (focussing on Divorce, Maintenance and Parent and Child). She has published extensively in these areas.
