
The LLM in Business Law at UKZN offers an in-depth exploration of advanced legal concepts and contemporary challenges in business law within both South African and global contexts. The programme is designed to deepen students’ understanding of specific areas of law, promote critical engagement with legal theory and practice, and equip graduates with the research, analytical, and practical skills necessary for academic, policy, or professional legal careers. Whether through coursework, research, or a combination of both, the programme fosters legal scholarship and thought leadership.
Applicants must hold an LLB or BProc degree with a minimum overall average of 60%. Admission is competitive and subject to the availability of places in the programme.
