For more than a century this Law School has built up a strong and trustworthy relationship with the broader legal profession in regard to the recruitment of our graduates. We are always extremely grateful that most of our graduates are able to secure employment in their chosen fields, and for this we thank you, the wider legal profession, both from within KwaZulu-Natal and other provinces.
We have found over the years that the personal interaction between the law firms and our students to be most beneficial and, we believe, considerably alleviated firms having to wade through piles of applications.
The event also presents a great opportunity for our students to interact with future employers; learn about job opportunities (vacation work, articles of clerkship, graduate internship programmes, bursary programmes and more); be better informed and focused on their desired choice of firm or branch of the legal profession; and learn about job search skills.
