Bio:

Phemelo Magau is a Lecturer in the School of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) with Mercantile Law from the North-West University (NWU). He is currently enrolled for his Doctor of Laws (LLD) studies with Mercantile Law at the NWU.

Before joining the University of KwaZulu-Natal School of Law in July 2021, Phemelo served as an Academic Assistant and later on as a Lecturer between 2019 and 2021 at the NWU. As an emerging academic, Phemelo is very passionate about pursuing his lifetime career in academia, with specific focus on mercantile law and related aspects. This is evident from, among others, an emerging track record on his name as well as his active involvement in most vibrant academic platforms. He is a member of the organising committee for the Annual Corporate & Financial Markets Law.
