Dr. Maropeng N Mpya possess a Bachelor of Laws and Masters of Laws (Cum Laude) both degrees where obtained from the University of South Africa. He further acquired Public International Law certificate from the University of Pretoria, a certificate in African Political Economy – The African Economic Challenge, a certificate in Thought Leadership from Thabo Mbeki Leadership Institute and a certificate in Global law and Policy from Harvard Law School . He is currently a Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, He is also a part-time Director for the Practical Legal Studies (Durban) at the Law Society of South Africa and finally he is a Commissioner at the Magistrate Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa.
