Managay Reddi is a Professor of Law and She is Professor Managay Reddi is the Dean and Head of the School of Law. She holds the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from the University of Durban-Westville, a Masters degree in Law (LLM) degree from the University of Natal and a Doctorate in Law (LLD) also from the University of Durban-Westville. Managay is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. She is currently the president of the South African Law Deans Association (SALDA) and a member of the Executive Council of the South African Judicial Education Institute (SAJEI). She is also a member of the National Forum on the Legal Profession and a Board member of the African Ombudsman Research Centre (AORC). As a lecturer at both under-and-post graduate levels and a researcher, she has published on a wide range of topics falling within her research interests of Criminal Law; Criminal Procedure, Gender and Human Rights. Apart from being a regular reviewer for various South African law journals, she is also an editor of the International Journal of Sociology and Social Anthropology.
