Biography

Professor Shannon Bosch is an Associate Professor of Law and the Academic Leader for Research and Higher Degrees at the School of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the former University of Natal, a Master of Laws (LLM) from University of Cambridge, England and a PhD from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Professor Bosch is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and has been lecturing in higher education for over 20 years. She has a successful track record of 30 academic publications and has successfully supervised 33 postgraduate students in pursuit of their Masters and PhD qualifications. Her areas of specialisation include Public International Law and International Humanitarian Law.
